Katy discovered her love for directing and arts administration while at Oklahoma City University. She served as the Business Manager, Fundraising Chair, and the Artistic Director of Out of the Box. She learned how to budget, obtain rights, fundraise, and manage a theatre company through this student-produced theatre organization. Katy directed and assistant directed three shows at OCU. She Assistant Directed Art, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and in her senior year she served on the OCU STRIPPED leadership team and was the Director for their production of Baby.

Katy plans to pursue these passions along with performing in New York City!
